How to Get Started with TradeXil Discord Bot

Add Bot to Discord
Click the "Add Bot to Discord" button above. Grant basic permissions (send messages, read message history). Bot joins your server or sends DMs directly to you.
Get Your Discord User ID
Enable Developer Mode in Discord (User Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode). Right-click your username and select "Copy User ID". Save this ID.
Link Your TradeXil Account
Go to TradeXil /trade dashboard, find the Discord Bot section, and paste your Discord User ID. This links your Discord to your TradeXil account.

How often do I receive signals?
Signal frequency depends on your selected profiles and timeframes. 5m timeframes generate more signals than 1d. Expect 0-50 signals per day on average across all profiles, but this varies based on market conditions and your strategy selection.
Can I customize which profiles send notifications?
Yes! Go to the Live Trading dashboard, find the Discord Signal Bot section, and toggle profiles on/off. Changes take effect immediately. You can track anywhere from 1 profile to 5 profiles simultaneously (Profile support count depends on your subscription plan).
What if I miss a signal?
You can easily see past signals in you DMs with the bot. However, the main use case is real-time alerts—most traders set Discord notifications to never miss a signal. (Do not use old signals for live trading decisions)
Is my Discord ID safe?
Your Discord User ID is completely public (anyone can see it in Discord). We only use it to identify you for receiving signals. Zero personal data is collected beyond that. All communication is encrypted via Discord's secure channels.
Does the bot work in groups/channels or only DMs?
Currently, signals are sent as direct messages (DMs) to your user. This ensures privacy and prevents notification spam in shared channels. It can be invited to group, but will only send DMs to users
What if the bot goes offline?
The Discord Signal Bot runs on production-grade infrastructure with 99.9% uptime SLA. If downtime occurs, signals wont be delivered until the bot is back online.
Can I use the bot for multiple Discord accounts?
Each Discord User ID can be linked to one TradeXil account. If you have multiple TradeXil accounts, you'll need separate Discord accounts to link to each. This prevents cross-linking of data. Using same Discord ID for multiple TradeXil accounts is not allowed and may result in account penalties.
How do I test if the bot is working?
Send the bot a DM with ~help. The bot will respond with setup instructions and confirm
it's connected and ready to receive signals. Great for troubleshooting connectivity issues.
What's the difference between these signals and live trading?
The Discord Signal Bot shows you signals detected by TradeXil's live trading bot. It's a notification layer, not a trading mechanism. Live trading actually opens positions; Discord just alerts you. You decide whether to trade or follow the signal.
Do I need a paid plan to use the bot?
No! Discord Signal Bot works with any TradeXil subscription: free or paid. You get the same real-time signals regardless of your subscription level. Although paid plans can select more profiles to get signals from and other benefits.
Can I get signals for other cryptocurrencies?
Currently supported: BTC/EUR and ETH/EUR. We're planning to add XRP/EUR, PAXG/EUR and other major pairs in Q1 2026. Let us know your preferences via contact form.
